INFUSE YOUR BOOZE
Our team at Unbooze loves trying new things, and our current obsession is infused booze! We recently developed a newfound appreciation for infused drinks and think you'll love these recipes we've picked out. Infused tequila, vodka, rum, or gin adds even more flavor to your cocktail of choice. Who doesn’t love a cocktail bursting with flavor? These homemade infusion recipes are perfect for any cocktail you wish to mix up!
SPICY JALAPEÑO TEQUILA
Ingredients:
- 1 jalapeño
- 2 cups Casa Del Sol Tequila
How to make:
- Thinly slice the jalapeño.
- Place jalapeños in the bottom of a 16-ounce mason jar. Top with tequila and cover with lid. Let sit 1-2 days.
- Remove jalapeño slices with a slotted spoon or strainer, and store in an airtight container.
STRAWBERRY LIME VODKA
Ingredients:
- 1 quart size glass jar
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 lime peel
- 1 lime sliced
- 2 c. Vodka
How to make:
- Make sure your jar is clean and dry.
- Add your fruit, herbs or spices and the cover with alcohol.
- Cover and set in a cool dry place.
- Taste after 3 days
- Strain and store in a glass bottle or jar.
- Refrigerate.
MANGO CHILI RUM
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and sliced
- 2-3 fresh red chili peppers, sliced (adjust to taste)
- Bottle of light or dark rum
- 1 large glass jar with a tight-sealing lid
How to make:
- Peel and slice the mango into thin pieces
- Slice the chili peppers
- Place the mango slices and chili peppers into the large glass jar
- Pour the rum over the mango and chili peppers, fully submerging them
- Store the jar in a cool, dry place
- Taste the rum after 3 days
- Once the rum has reached your desired flavor, strain out the mango slices and chili peppers
CUCUMBER LEMON GIN
Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- Bottle of gin
- 1 large glass jar with a tight-sealing lid
How to make:
- Thinly slice the cucumber
- Thinly slice the lemon, removing any seeds
- Place the cucumber and lemon slices into the large glass jar
- Pour the gin over the cucumber and lemon, fully submerging them
- Seal the jar tightly and give it a gentle shake
- Store the jar in a cool
- Taste the gin after 2 days
- Once the gin has reached your desired flavor, strain out the cucumber and lemon slices
